Wondering what these orange emus are all about?

Hi, I’m Michelle Milthorpe, your Independent Candidate for the federal seat of Farrer in the next election.

My campaign as your Independent Candidate for Farrer has officially launched! And I have been endorsed by the community group Voices of Farrer, whose emblem is an emu.

Emus are found on the coat of arms adorning our Federal Parliament, they are common across the Farrer electorate, they stick together in groups, walking with style and grace, and are very inquisitive creatures. And the clincher - they can't walk backwards!

A fitting icon for the campaign and for our electorate.
