Independent MPs are exactly that - independent. They are not members of any political party and instead act as true representatives for their electorate.

Without an affiliation to a party, Independents are free to work with all sides of politics to get the best outcomes for their consistuents. As a regional independent I can fight for equity for the rural, regional and remote communities that are often overlooked.

Independents create a more balanced government when it comes to decision-making. The Australian two-party system has become oppositional, divisive and unrelatable to the people they represent.

A strong crossbench can hold the major parties accountable ensuring better debate and fairer decision making. As an Independent I will put our community first, by listening and working directly with you, the people of Farrer.
